Wow. That's all I can say. With over 10,000 cars, this game delivers the realism into a driving simulator. The feel and the graphics that went behind this game is gorgeous! HD and 3D compatable! Only for a mere $59.99 CAD. To me, it's worth more than that of Super Mario Galaxy 2, retailed at the same price. Although, Mario games are classics too. Nintendo's secret weapon! But thank goodness my dad got it for me for a low low price of $19.99 CAD on Boxing Day. For all you suckers out there who couldn't get it, "YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE!" As for many games, you start at Lvl. 0 and work your way up higher ranks. In GT5, you start as a beginner at Lvl. 0. You have Cr. 20,000 (that's virtual money) to spend on cars, and items. You won't find any sick cars that are Lvl 0 in the Used Cars section, nor you can afford any cars in the Car Dealership when you first start. I picked the Toyota MS2 99' for Cr. 13,000. It's the one that look the most modern, and it's affordable (within my budget). After you bought your junkie, you hit the tracks, starting at the A-Specs Category. Each competion has a level restriction. For now, you must play Lvl. 0 competitions until you reach the next level, unlocking more stages. Each race earns you a certain amount of credits, which is determined by what rank you've placed after each race.
This game is so addicting and can't wait to play some more! School work and midterms are coming up, and this is going to be hard to not get distracted by the driving simulator. I just have to work on time management. Right?!
If you don't have this game yet, I highly recommend buying it. IGN rated it 8.5, but I rate it at least a 9.0.
